Jamie Johnson signs with Griffins
Congratulations to Jamie Johnson who signed with Detroit Redwings' farm team - The Grand Rapids Griffins. Johnson, who has been using Power-Wear this summer has this to say: "I wore the Power Pants a few times on the ice and when I took them off I couldn't believe the difference. I felt great!"

New Power Wear user!
Sergei Gonchar - Pittsburgh Penguins
Peter MacArthur - Rockford IceHogs
"I've been using Hasanen Power Wear for several years since my college days at Boston University. The weighted shorts (4.4lb) have helped me become a more powerful skater and give me the edge I need to get to the puck first".

Bob Deraney - Head Coach, Providence College Women's Ice Hockey
"The Hasanen Power Wear Power-Pants that we have implemented into our training has without a doubt made our athletes quicker and stronger on our skate. We use them once we have completed our first phase of conditioning during the season and we are looking to create the next level of resistance to take our players to the next level of conditioning and strength. When we use them we keep the tempo of practice high and the work to rest ratio low (1-2; 1-3) and find that we are not only improving our physical stamina but our mental stamina as well. These shorts have made a tremendous difference in the improvement and performance of all of our players."

Scott Thornton - Former NHL Player
First of all, I love the gear. I have worn it with just about every exercise that I can think of. I certainly see where it could help elite athletes. I have used the Power Wear for cycling, hockey and I went for a run with it on. I could see myself using it for hill climbs in the summer, or sprints on the road. On the ice, it works great. I have been on the ice with them with very little side effects, other than the extra workout factor, you can hardly notice them on. This would be great for any plyometric work or short sprints. "
